Hey everyone, welcome to the official ScoutAbout Explorer community! I'm Michael Hanes, the founder of ScoutAbout. Let me quickly introduce myself. I worked in Telcom as a software developer and systems integrator for more than 30 years until 2020 when Covid hit and I took a buyout. I'm also a musician, a travel enthusiast, bad golfer, and a lifelong learner. My passion for building, learning and discovery are the core reasons I started creating ScoutAbout. So, what is ScoutAbout? It's like a "leaky bucket" where your audience's attention and your potential opportunities are lost. It makes it really challenging to turn followers into customers. ScoutAbout is being built to solve that. The goal is to move beyond static content and create immersive journeys that turn your followers into a dedicated community. Why This Community Exists (And Why You're Here) I'm currently deep in the initial development and launch phase, and I believe in building in public.
