How do you stay motivated during the post-holiday slump?
Sometimes during season changes and times of transition, it's easy to be very motivated especially if you have an idea of what's coming up next. But when you're feeling a little more in the dark it can be difficult to be excited and easier to be fearful or concerned. Staying motivated during times of transition can be challenge and opportunity to grow. Staying motivated and engaged after the holiday season is sometimes a big challenge for me and other. People are some dopamined up from the holidays that when January comes, it's easy to feel pretty down and feel as though there's nothing as great as the holidays to look forward to in the near future. To get through the post holiday hump, my best hack for motivation during transition is planning my work and vacations for the next 6 months and adopting one new habit or platform. Last year, I got to plan one of my niece's engagement pre-wedding family gatherings and got really into ChatGPT and learning prompt engineering. This year, I don't yet have any vacations or events on the schedule, but I am planning to dig deeper into Chat and learn to build a chat bot. Haven't tried it before, but it's a great way to improve and develop without feeling the post-holiday slump. What do you do to stay motivated during the post holiday slump? My guess is if you're thinking about it before the slump happens, it's an even easier transition to manage. What hacks do you use to keep going and stay focused?
