In 2024, side-by-sides were responsible for the highest number of deaths. Side-by-sides! By design, they should be safe! 14 deaths in side-by-sides in a single year is shocking. A common phrase I hear from older farmers is that they don’t need rules because they have common sense. The sad thing about this is that the majority of deaths are our older and very experienced farmers. Fatigue and complacency about safety are big factors. In this video we talk about 4 main areas to focus on to ensure your plant and equipment is safe and compliant.
