Mindset Check: Discipline Will Take You Where Motivation Cannot Let’s be real for a moment: A lot of people do not fail because they are not gifted. They fail because they are inconsistent (inconsistencies/lack of discipline breeds failure) Many people have big goals, big visions, and big dreams but no discipline. They want the result, but do not yet have the structure or discipline to create the structure to produce/support the result. Here is the truth: If your mindset is unstable, your habits will be unstable (in both personal and your business endeavors). If your habits are unstable, your results will be unstable. You do not need to feel motivated every day of the week. You need to create systems. You need to learn order. You need to create structure. You need to train your mind that translate into actions to move even when you do not feel like it. Success is not built by random emotional lash outs. It will be built by repeated obedience to the right actions. Examine yourself: Ask yourself 1. What is my Why(s) in my life? Is what I'm doing purposeful? Do I enjoy what I'm doing? What Can I do to change my situation? etc.... Discipline is focus and self-respect in action. Structure is how you protect your purpose, and build your foundations on solid rock instead of sand. Goals are only obtainable by those who can govern themselves. To close out this month and to finish out the rest of your week, stop focusing only on the big picture. Perfect your day.
