Rooted Daily Dose: “We Become What We Practice”
“Today, instead of asking ‘What do I want to be?’ we’re asking: What am I practicing?
We are always practicing something—avoiding, rushing, people-pleasing, numbing, or, alternatively, boundaries, presence, truth-telling, or rest. Over time, repetition shapes our nervous system, our posture, our choices, and our identity. If we keep practicing old patterns, we get more of the same. If we practice new ways of being, slowly and imperfectly, we move toward the person we long to be.”

Poll question: “Right now, what best describes your practice?”
I’m mostly practicing something I really want to stop doing.
I’m mostly practicing something I really want to stop doing.
I’m practicing new ways of being that feel aligned with who I’m becoming.
I’m not sure what I’m practicing, but I want to get clearer.
