About 20 minutes before writing this, I underwent a tired spell🥱. Out of no where I became super sleepy and couldn't focus...and of course it was right before I was starting on some work (I see you self-sabotage) I needed to snap out of it (plus it was only 10:30 am...way to early for a nap). I needed to mentally, physically, and emotionally prep myself to ✨becoming✨ productive. 👉👉Here's what I did: 1. I decided on an affirmation, "I am willing, I am able, I am prosperous" 2. I Followed the affitmation process that I use which includes essential oils, my affirmation, and a power pose🦹♀️. I smell the oils, stand in my power pose, and repeat my affirmation outloud until I feel it resonate in my bones and in my being. 3. Prepped the things I needed to get in a flow work state: ☕ Tea (too much coffee ATM) 🍒 Snacks 🛢️Essential oils 🎶 Vibe Music (hip-hop insrumentals) 🥤Water 🔥Heated blanket (because its a bit chilly today) Created the environment and making sure I have everything I need, plus my cozy stuff sets the tone to get in the zone and get shit done. I am creating a point of reference so that each time I recreate this environment I am telling my brain that its time to be productive. These are things that help me get in the mental state for thinking work. My routines change a bit if I am doing a different kind of work, like recording a video or showing up on a zoom call.
