Before the Rock N' Roll Film School there was The Gulf Islands Film and Television School. The school opened up in 1995. Rock N' Roll Film School founder Evan Allen was a student there in 1999-2000. After 4 courses over a month, he went directly into the film industry in many departments. He eventually bought the school he went to. He ran it for 5 years as Director and Mentor. Covid unfortunately locked us down until we could no longer keep our doors open. Evan continued his film career mostly as a Props Master but worked in many other departments as well. He now writes, produces, and directs independent feature films. Rock N' Roll Film School is now the Online version of The Gulf Islands Film and Television School. Welcome to the ROCK N' ROLL FILM SCHOOL. My name is Evan Allen. I am a writer, producer, director, props master, set decorator, editor, camera operator, production assistant, A.I. music and music video creator. I have sung in bands, I have had my songs in movies and TV shows. I am an award winning writer, directed and produced feature films and a ton of short films. I am the former owner of The Gulf Islands Film and Television School up in Canada until Covid shut us down for 2 years so we had to step away. But now it's time to take my film courses and put them online for youth and adults alike. We will cover a number of different film courses and A.I. as well.
