Getting the smell out of new wool garments

Just got this coat today and I suspect it has been stored in plastic for months. It has that overpowering smell of lanolin. Any tips on getting that smell out or at least down a fair bit? Airing out will take forever.thinking about getting it dry cleaned and see if that helps any but I figured you guys would be the best place to start.
