Just went through the Simple Side Hustle Training... It's stacked! I'll be presenting at an SBA promoted Chamber Event next week and folllowing Jeff's lead, I'll be talking about AI and AI-Powered Reviews with Reviewly. I took my time tonight and went through this training and you should too if you haven't already done so. The sales tips and resources alone should compel anyone in this group or remotely interested in making money with Reviewly.ai to go and complete this training.

How An Attorney's Office Got Slapped For A Review Surge
Key Takeaways - Client's aggressive review solicitation led to Google removing ~50% of new reviews - Despite setback, client's account remains active; continuing steady review collection - Agencies must set clear expectations on review acquisition pacing to avoid Google penalties - Regular check-ins and ongoing guidance are crucial for preventing client missteps Google Review Solicitation Mishap - Client mass-messaged customer list for reviews - Google removed ~50% of new reviews ("review purge") - Client disabled all throttling systems, triggering Google's attention - ~30 reviews hidden due to "review surge" - Account not terminated; still collecting reviews at a consistent pace Agency Best Practices for Review Management - Never promise high review numbers in short timeframes (e.g., 20-50-100 reviews quickly) - Implement review throttling systems (e.g., Revealies' built-in throttle) - Advise clients to limit review requests (e.g., X requests per day) - Encourage consistent, metered review activity over time - Explain importance of gradual review build-up (e.g., 1-2 weeks vs. 2-3 days) Client Communication Strategies - Proactively check in on client's review generation activities - Offer to use successful clients as case studies to gain insights - Be prepared to re-educate clients on best practices - Frame review collection like "teenage driving" - set clear rules and expectations Handling Review Penalties - Guide clients through Google's review reinstatement process - Help reframe future review collection strategies - Emphasize consistent, day-to-day review requests aligned with business volume Next Steps - Implement regular check-ins with clients about their review collection practices - Develop clear, written guidelines for clients on safe review solicitation - Create a crisis management plan for clients facing Google penalties - Consider enhancing review throttling features in agency tools - Use this case study to educate other clients and prevent similar issues

How An Attorney's Office Got Slapped For A Review Surge
Presenting at the SBA and The Chamber
There’s an enormous opportunity right now with AI! I’d absolutely recommend joining organizations like The Chamber of Commerce, BNI and connecting with the SBA! Today, I was asked to present on AI on behalf of the SBA next Wednesday at the Lebanon Valley Chamber here in PA… Yea it’s an hour away from me… All in on AI!!! Reviewly will be Demo’d!!!!

Motivation Monday - How To Make Sales This Week
Key Takeaways - Persistence in follow-up is crucial: text, call, and pursue leads aggressively - Holiday season presents unique opportunities for sales; capitalize on downtime - Immediate action post-demo (trials, commitments) significantly increases success - Continuous marketing and outreach are essential, even post-demo and during onboarding Effective Lead Follow-up Strategy - Text leads immediately if they don't show up for scheduled Zoom call - Call after 1 minute if no response to text - 80% success rate in reaching leads through this method - Example: Lead forgot call, joined 3-4 minutes late, committed to trial within 15 minutes Persistence in Outreach - Pushback from leads (e.g., "stop bothering") doesn't mean stop reaching out to everyone else - Continue outreach if you believe your product fits their needs (ICP) - Push boundaries with copy and outreach methods to find the "envelope" - Marketing shouldn't stop post-demo; continue through onboarding and beyond Leveraging Technology for Scheduling - Use tools like Calendly integrated with Zoom for efficient scheduling - Wait until start time to initiate contact if lead has confirmed - Preemptively reach out if lead hasn't confirmed meeting Capitalizing on Holiday Season Opportunities - Next two weeks crucial for sales; businesses looking to spend marketing budgets - Find "dead spots" during family time to work (e.g., in-laws visiting) - Target leads during travel times (airports, trains) or when they're likely checking email - Book demos for after New Year or between Christmas and New Year Immediate Action and Follow-up - Text and call leads immediately upon showing interest - Don't slack on follow-ups during holiday season - Aim to get leads on demos quickly Next Steps - Message 5 businesses immediately after this meeting - Intensify outreach efforts in the next two weeks - Prepare for increased content creation (videos) in coming weeks - Review and optimize demo-to-trial conversion strategies - Implement aggressive text/call follow-up for no-shows

Getting back to it!
I was happy to run into my old buddy Steve, co-owner at WNY MMA & Fitness. When I told him about Reviewly, he was more than happy to take one of the Google Review Plates off my hands! (the plan is to manage the gym's Google Business Profile as well). I'm always eager to try new outreach strategies, but sometimes the low hanging fruit is too sweet to pass up. 🙂 Good luck out there!
