I recently bought materials for silicone gel plate printing. A few questions before I start. 1. Seems like acrylic paint is the most recommended product. Is it possible to use other inks/paints? 2. Manufacturer suggests cleaning the plate with soap and water, but the Youtube-o-verse suggests baby wipes. Any difference between the two methods? 3. If I understand the process, the paint is still wet when you place the paper, then you wait 30 seconds or so before pulling the paper off the plate. Is this basically the process? 4. Are people using any lamps with a white light that help paint at night? My normal overhead light gives a yellow hue to my artwork! What is your setup? ☺️❤️
