Simply me
Hello. I thought I should introduce myself .
I'm self taught ( unless you include "O"level art a gazillion years ago, not at all merited because i spent more time in the store cupboard ,pilfering supplies with potential to dye my hair exciting colours, than actually studying art )
I paint for pleasure but would love to sell some , then I can paint some more 🙂
I particularly love painting in oil with a knife.
I've been working with cyanotype printing for a few years now . Last year I learned how to make lampshades, a short one day course in the UK, and then a four day course here in France at the local chambre de metiers. I think they are a wonderful way to expose the true beauty of cyanotype. I still have a lot to learn, but I sold my first cyanotype lantern this year and I hope to repeat that happy feeling very soon .
I wear my "happy hat " in the space that I work in because its very chilly in there during the winter, and I like the old phrase and ideology that " If you want to get ahead , get a hat "
