Send Carrots,, 🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕

I'm a member of Watercolor Journey Skool. Earlier this month we had a class of creating a bunny. Initially it was just the bunny with no background. Seeing a bunny, my first thought was carrots.

Carrots remind me of Oracle cards magic group where we have a saying... Send carrots. What it means is, when you go down the rabbit hole you need carrots!

So for the first time ever I made carrots in the ground because the bunny was going to go after them and pull them out and eat them! So my picture needed the grass and the sky and carrots and carrot tops. And the carrot tops had to look different from the green of the grass.

Andit's so interesting because I paint that I noticed how many different colors go into making a thing.

The grass has three different shades in it. Carrots have four different shades. The carrot tops have four different shades. And so it goes. The sky has lavender and cobalt.

When I give myself the gift of time to create, whether it's 5 minutes of practicing my hand lettering or coloring or sketching in my little tiny brown paper journal that is maybe 4x6, and get into a happy place. It helps me push away the noise and the screaming of the world and tune into that quiet space within and Divinity all around.

So I hope you will have ways to bring fun and play and creativity into your life even if it's only for a few minutes.
