As we approach this cosmic event in just a few days - the New Moon Lunar Eclipse 🌚 and Chinese New Years (Year of the Fire Horse) 🔥🐎on February 17th, I have felt the need to go inward. A deep shedding is underway, as the Year of the Snake 🐍 closes out, and Saturn leaves Watery Dreamy Pieces where she has been for the past 2 1/2 years, and charges into Fiery Aries Energy for real this time, hang on to your hats this will be a bumpy ride all the way through to 2028 (but we already knew that!)
This moment is a time of reckoning, of clearing out the old (outdated beliefs and self limiting thinking) to make peace with what we are letting go, and making space for the new. I have been lighting candles, and physically cleaning house. Energetically preparing for the next phase. 🧽🕯️ (Tomorrow I will burn some incense, but only if its not raining too hard - the cat hates incense and she has been staying in and sleeping alot all weekend!)
I have been going through a bit of tough time this past month over here. Feeling some real loneliness from time to time, and visioning my next steps as I transition into Empty Nest as a Solo gal. I have my ups and downs, like anyone. Sometimes I am super excited about creating, sometimes I need a retreat. And part of being good to myself is I dont shame myself for taking time off to rest and reset. 🔄
And thus, I have been pretty quiet online thus past week. I have been reflecting on what I am creating in this space, and what impact it has. Our little group is small but mighty, so I want to ask you - what would YOU like to see in this space? Nervous system regulation tools, like tapping videos, breathwork or yoga nidra? Yoga philosophy? Daily inspiration? A gentle daily check in? Daily card pull for the collective? ps: In December I started a new group: Nervous System Cafe'. I wanted to create a space that felt more approachable, more aligned to my IT live feed, less trauma recovery coded. But - the content and intent is much the same. Some people can relate to needing to reparent themselves (I DID!) and some don't. My daily life looks a lot like giving Little Daphne plenty of pep talks, and gentle assurance throughout the day. Repeating affirmations in song form, tapping in real time, and making up little songs to comfort myself.
