What changed my life the most
This post is going to sound a little cliché and on the nose, but it's the truth, so I wanted to share it because it might just help you if you're in a similar position as I was. 2 years ago I nearly took my own life. I had been walking down the wrong path for a long time and hadn't even realised it until I wound up in a deep pit that I didn't know how to get out of. I was so unhappy in the life that I had built. I was working a physical job in London 12 hours a day (it was my own business but it didn't feel like it). I had just ended an 8 year relationship because I blamed my partner for where I was in life, only to realise that my partner had been the only one keeping me afloat, and now that she was gone, I started to sink rapidly. I also managed to gamble away (day trading) 95% of my net worth, after watching it skyrocket to more than I'd ever had in my life. I was left lonely, lost, broke and so full of shame and regret at the mess I'd made of my life, that the feelings of depression I thought I'd finally outrun, came back with a vengeance to try and finish the job. The one thing that saved me, and that helped completely turn my life around to the point I'm in right now, 2 years later living full time as a digital nomad and working online helping people in a way that excites and motivates me, and with the partner of my dreams (that's a story for another post), was gratitude. (I know, so cliché. I hear your groans😅). Gratitude, self acceptance and love, which all come from escaping the ego. That part of us that tries to keep us safe but inevitably keeps us small. When I started to practice gratitude for the things I had in my life (it was hard at first. I didn't think I had much to be grateful for), then the funniest thing started happening. More good things started to show up in my life. It's easy to be grateful when you're a digital nomad. There are amazing things happening every day, kind people welcoming you into their homes and communities, incredible landscapes to discover, delicious food to try, and breath taking views to witness.

Mindset Check-In
I've been good at many things and failed at many others. I'm almost flipping a coin to see if it's heads or tails next.

How to make better choices
How often do you struggle to do the things you know you need to? How often to you keep choosing short term comfort over your long term goals? Do you get stuck in making decisions based on past fears, present stress, and apathy? You want to build a better business and life, and yet you often end up choosing the easy or convenient option that doesn't align with that aim? I think this is a common problem that most of us face at one point in our life or another. But how do we change it? A simple framework that I use (because who has time for complexity), is what I call the Future State Decision Matrix. If the current you is making the wrong decisions based on past fears, then you need to step out of that version and into a version of you that is wiser, has achieved the goals you want to achieve, and who knows what steps to take to get there. This might sound strange. How can we step into our future self? The thing is you're already doing this, just based on the past where many of your mistakes are, instead of the future where your goals and aspirations exist. Once you realise this, it becomes easier to imagine this process. If you already decide based on things that no longer exist, then why not start deciding based on things that don't YET exist, but through your decisions are brought into existence? If you want to try this process out, just download the pdf. You can fill it out on your computer or phone. The point here is to practice this to the point where you can do it intuitively in your head every time you need to make an important decision you're avoiding. But start with the pdf framework for clarity. I'd also love to hear if you find it useful, and what your current biggest struggles are with your creating income from anywhere in the world? Thank you to @Bianca Vogelaar for creating such a cool space where we can all support each other to create more freedom and income in our lives.

I have a bunch of issues: overwhelm, self doubt, imposter syndrome, procrastination…..I recently heard that these are all symptoms of stress. So now my biggest goal is to become a relaxed woman 😎
🧠 Mindset Check-In
I'm going through a exciting / character building time right now. My Skool is growing steadily as well as my 1:1 support, however I have a 4k remote role coming to the end at the end of this month and I have decided to go all in on Skool coaching instead of taking on any more remote work. So scary/exciting/stressful!
