Step 2: Build Your Proof
Step 2 is all about creating something real, your first portfolio piece, your transformation story, a concept, a CV update. Whatever proof looks like for your path. Share what you made, even if it's a rough first version. Screenshots, links, or just tell us what you created. Feedback always welcome here ๐Ÿ‘€

@Bianca Vogelaar I changed it up. Hopefully this looks more uniform. I am always open to any feedback. I kind of shortened it with some concentration on what I actually can do now. But I still have a lot to do. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ˜‚

@Jana Marie Backhaus-Tors I agree! Iโ€™m slowly rolling out some โ€œAuthenticsโ€ to replace the AI mish mash. I want to be authentic to potential clients. Iโ€™m not photogenic, but at my age Iโ€™ve learned to just accept it and move on! I have some many other things to worry about rather than my photos. ๐Ÿ™Œ Thank you for the hint, I will def do that with my file!
GOALS: It's Monday and I need to know ๐Ÿ‘€

Tell me ONE thing you're committing to this week ๐ŸŽฏ Drop it below and let's gooooo ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘‡

I have been a busy girl revamping my portfolio, and I looked at my proposal... it's been a while and totally not me. I've looked at it at length and have reworded in a tone and style that is more me. I have also looked at the package pricing and my jaw dropped at the ๐Ÿ’ฉ I was trying to include in my services. I am improving, but I can't offer things I can't feel confident doing. I don't want to be caught with my pants down when I do land a client. ๐Ÿ‘€ I am taking the night to and tomorrow at work to think about what I will offer and redo packages to reflect a current situation. ๐Ÿชœ
6 Month Statement ๐Ÿ“
In the next 6 months, I will have built the foundation of my business. Clarified my mission, defined my purpose, and learned more skills that make my services stronger. I will have clients. I don't know how many yet, but I will have started. I will have built real rapport with the people I work with and have a system that actually runs. I will look at my earnings and feel motivated to go further, not just relieved. I will have started to look into traveling, because that's the whole point. โœˆ๏ธ

I think my biggest block is just ๐“‚๐‘’. I need to just get past that imposter syndrome and stop boxing myself in. I can do this. I can learn. I can apply what I've learned. I was trained in the right mindset. ๐Ÿง โœจ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป
REPLAY IS UP! How to become an OBM
We just wrapped the session with Karen, and honestly, I learned so much too ๐Ÿ‘ @Karen Daniels from Sustly Business Solutions came in today and broke down exactly what an Online Business Manager does, how to get into it, and why your current experience is probably way more transferable than you think. The OBM role comes down to 4 core areas: And when you understand how they connect, everything clicks. You ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ป'๐˜ need a specific qualification or job title to get started. The skills you already have from organizing, communicating, and problem-solving in your current role? That's the foundation right there ๐Ÿ’ก The difference between a VA and an OBM is less about what you do and more about how you operate. OBMs lead and oversee. VAs do and support. Both are valuable, and a lot of OBMs started as VAs. ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ณ ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—น๐˜† from day one matters more than you think. Low rates attract the wrong clients. Confidence in your pricing signals confidence in your value ๐Ÿ’ฐ And ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ป ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ป'๐˜ ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜†, it actually makes everything easier. The more specific you are about who you help and what you do, the less you compete on price. A huge thank you to @Karen Daniels for showing up and delivering such a real, practical session! Scan the QR code below to connect with her. Whether you need an OBM or want to become one. ๐Ÿ˜‰ The full replay is now available in the Remote Income Skills Library ๐Ÿ™Œ HERE Drop a ๐Ÿ’œ below if this is a path you're curious about! @Stephanie Gee would also love to hear your main takeaways. ๐Ÿ˜Š

It's been a dream of mine to pivot into something more fulfilling and self-moderated. I love my job, but there are dreams to make reality ๐Ÿ”ฅ
