Some people think hypnosis means a loss of control.
I would say it's quite the opposite.
We go into states of hypnosis all the time, throughout the day...when we zone out, watch the news, get into a movie, or play video games..we go into a trance like state.
The media is constantly trying to hypnotize to believe some story line or other.
When you go into hypnosis intentionally, with a purpose of transforming your life in a positive direction, you actually take MORE control of your mind and your brain, not less.
Rather than being pushed and pulled by the stories of the people around you, the media, or the culture at large, you start to create your own story.
You don't have to believe all the suggestions of the hypnotist. You decide what you take in and what you let go. You can also tweak the affirmations to make them fit well for you.
Going into a state of relaxation allows you to bring your subconscious mind aboard a journey of positive transformation.
Considering that the subconscious mind is responsible for over 80 percent of our day to day decisions, it's a good ally to have any time you want to create any sort of change in your life!
