Books to Thrive- Eat that Frog!
Our book of the month for the next few months (until we finish it) is Eat That Frog- 21 great ways to STOP PROCRASTINATING and get more done in less time.
Don’t worry, no frogs were hurt in the writing of this book! Your frog is simply the most important task that can move you forward, but it might be scary to do it and you might avoid it.
You can click above and order your own copy, or just follow along with the posts and not go into as much depth by reading it. Totally up to you!
We will go through and discuss one chapter each week.
Action steps from Chapter 1-
1.) Write down ten goals you want to accomplish in the next year, as if you’ve already accomplished them. Use present tense, positive voice, first person.
Example- I earn x number of dollars per year. I am fit, healthy, and consistently energetic. I have attended a Ted X event successfully and I now have a viral Ted X clip. I’m a highly sought after speaker.
2. ) Review your list of ten goals and select the one goal that would have the greatest positive impact on your life.
Write this goal on a separate sheet of paper, set a deadline, make a plan, do something every day that moves you toward your goal. This exercise alone could change your life, according to the author!
