Using job boards for your client BD

I’ve noticed quite a few questions in the group about the challenge of client BD & keeping your pipeline full with productive partners.

Here’s something that will help: Build a simple job scraper automation setup that pulls data from your favourite job boards. With this, you can generate a list of 50+ ICP clients currently recruiting in your niche per job board, per day—all in one go emailed to you each morning.

Here’s how to get the most out of it:

1. Scrape daily: Focus on job listings posted in the last 24 hours to keep your data fresh.

2. Organise the info: Compile the results into a spreadsheet and set it to be delivered straight to your inbox.

3. Take action: You’ll have key details like the company, role, and the TA in charge. From there, you can either manually follow up or automate your outreach for maximum efficiency.

I built this in make.com for my clients - follow the screenshot and this flow:

Scrape JobBoard (phantombuster, apify or custom webhook) -> parse content -> create a daily spreadsheet for leads -> generate a sheet for each job board -> update rows -> email you the list of jobs posted in the last 24h each day.

With this, you can get a list of every single business posting roles in your niche every day to either do BD with or place your candidates with; depending on how you approach it, that's a minimum of 250 hot and heavy BD ops each week.
