Progress Looks Different Some Days
Listening to your body and not pushing past pain, is so important. I’m literally dealing with this right now. One of my goals this year is to run 1 mile every single day for the entire year. Today was day 56. And yeah… I didn’t run. I’ll be honest, I was annoyed with myself. There was a voice in my head that kept saying me “Just suck it up. The pain is in your head. Push through.” That voice is LOUD sometimes. But I knew deep down my body needed a break, so instead of running, I still got my mile in on the bike. The progress didn’t stop, it just looked different today. I don’t even know exactly how I hurt myself, but if I had to guess… I went from not running at all to running every day, barely stretching, and just kept pushing. A lot of small things added up. I kept running through the pain, and today at work it caught up to me. I could barely bend down, when I would take a step my inner thigh would hurt so bad. That was my sign. Running today would’ve been a bad decision, not a disciplined one. Here’s the thing: Sometimes you can push through discomfort. But when it’s actual physical pain to the point where you can’t move normally, continuing to push doesn’t make you tougher. It just makes the injury worse. Your other muscles start overcompensating, and that’s exactly what happened to me. And yeah… Sunday I thought I felt “fine” and pushed a little extra. Got home and literally couldn’t stand. Lesson learned 🙃 So here’s your reminder: Being disciplined and determined is powerful. But so is knowing when to ease back. Listening to your body isn’t quitting, it’s playing the long game. Adjust. Find alternatives. Keep showing up in a way that supports your goals and your health. You don’t lose momentum by being smart. You lose it by getting injured. 💯

Happy New Year! Let’s Crush 2026 Together 🎉💪
Happy January 2nd & welcome to 2026 🖤 This is my first post of 2026 in here, and one of my personal goals this year is to be way more active + present in this community! The beginning of a new year isn’t about pressure or having everything figured out. It's about deciding how you want to move differently this time, with more intention and less all-or-nothing thinking. Everyone starts with excitement. The real difference comes from using this energy to build habits, structure, and clarity that actually last. If you’re here today, you’re already laying that foundation and that matters more than you think. Reminder:📞 Weekly call + FIRST call of the new year is TONIGHT at 6pm We’ll be going over: - Goal setting that actually makes sense for your life - How to break big goals into doable steps - Ways to stay consistent when motivation drops (because it will) Let’s make 2026 the year we actually follow through on what we say we want. Drop one goal you’re committed to this year in the comments ⬇️
