My family, do not rush to be real estate brokers or agents on your own. Yesterday in class I heard where mistakes are already happening: listing, closing of properties without proper authorizations/registrations from FIU, tax department etc. Don’t make costly mistakes that can easily be avoided for you are knowledgeable of the requirements. It is my dream to one day open a full real estate and consultancy firm but that day in not now or in 2026. I once worked with Keller Williams and now working as an agent under J. Nicole Enterprise’s umbrella. I don’t have to worry about FIU registration just yet, but the reason working under a seasoned brokerage is to continue educating myself, have proper guidance along the way until I am truly comfortable to fly. Will I give up some of my commission, Of Course, but the trade off of gaining more experience, doing right by clients, meeting more customers and getting them as clients, have more opportunity to listing and sales is worth so much more. Do the math, commissions to broker is a small fractional of increase sales. Don’t rush to be on your own if you are not ready, this is where costly mistakes will be made. Just my two cents…

Heavenly Father, we lift up all fellow students of REIB to You. We ask that You strengthen us in our studies, guide our decisions, and bless us with wisdom, discipline, and integrity. May we be equipped to do good things, serve others honestly, and contribute positively to our communities and the real estate profession. Grant us perseverance, unity, and success as we continue this journey. Amen.

Today, 1 February 2026, we turn the page with purpose. January has taught us lessons—some through success, others through mistakes—but every lesson makes us stronger. Let us move forward with positive thinking, renewed faith, and determination. Let us sharpen our plans, raise our standards, and commit to becoming better than we were yesterday. Above all, let us never forget to serve others in need, because when we lift others up, we rise together. We are human, we may stumble, but together we help one another stand, move forward, and succeed.

Dear Lord, I know Your grace is sufficient and that You are my ever-present help in times of need, but sometimes my actions do not reflect these truths. It’s much easier for me to complain about my stressful, painful, and difficult circumstances or try to fix or change what seems to be causing me to feel overwhelmed. I need to come to You and ask for grace when I have reached my limit, or I feel like I am being crushed under the weight of my suffering in the “winter season.” You are faithful to provide all I need because You are a gracious Father who cares deeply for Your children. I come to You as Your child today, boldly asking for You to help me to abide in the Vine. I trust You are faithful in every season, even if this season of suffering doesn’t have an expiration date on this side of eternity. May You use my life to bear lasting fruit in every season, no matter how difficult. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
