The Impact of an Ungazetted Day Off on a Business
Let's do some math.
Suppose you have an amazing team of 10 working 8 hours a day.
Which means,
For every person working 8 hours:
10 people x 8 hours = 80 solid hours of work/day
But, if you decide to take a day off randomly, here's what happens:
1 day off = 80 hours of work lost = 3.3 days behind the rest of the world.
Instead of taking the day off, use it as an incentive. An extra payday will push you 3 days ahead of your competitors.
