Outside My Door
Outside of my door is a world of cold
Inside my place there is some warmth
Folks in high places with ideas unsold
Low vibrational thinking doing much harm
Division appears to be on a ascension
This isn't what most people need or want
Folks in high places don't want our permission
And so now there is a lack of connection
Where in the world is the spirit of kindness?
Where in the world is the soul of forgiveness?
Who in the world wants to be generous?
Content within, full of happiness?
Outside my door is a world of cold
Somewhere outside there are cats in a barn
Inside my mind is a vision so bold
A world where people truly do care
Folks in high places want only submission
I question their sanity and cognition
My world needs a love transfusion
Negativity needs to go into remission
Where in the world is the spirit of kindness?
Where in the world is the soul of forgiveness?
Who in the world wants to be generous?
Content within, full of happiness?
Dive into charity and help who you can
Dive into hope with a run in the sun
Dive into a mission with a plan
And ascend ever upward as a win.
