Arabic with Tajweed rules:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Tajweed explanation (simple):
- بِسْمِ (Bismi) → Clear “b” sound, short “i”
- اللَّهِ (Allāh) → Heavy (bold) “Laa” because of tafkhīm
- الرَّحْمَٰنِ (Ar-Raḥmān) → “رَّ” has shaddah (double “r” sound) “ḥ” is a deep throat letter Stretch “mā” (2 counts – madd)
- الرَّحِيمِ (Ar-Raḥīm) → Again double “r” sound Stretch “ḥī” (2 counts – madd)
Slow recitation:
Bis-mi-llā-hi r-raḥ-mā-ni r-ra-ḥīm
Tip:Focus on:
- Stretching the long vowels (madd)
- Emphasizing doubled letters (shaddah)
- Pronouncing throat letters correctly (ḥ)
