Hey y’all. Really cool hearing from everyone last night, crazy motivated to get some tracks out the door. Writing a melodic bass track, but it’s quite soft. It’s call goodnight and my goal was to kind’ve make it feel all dreamy and light while still being a bass song. Was hoping if anyone had mixing advice on this drop (or the song as a whole, especially the vocals, they felt impossible to get right). Hey folks, I started producing around a month ago over the winter holidays and I have no idea what I'm doing. I started to put this remix of Not the 1975 together. The drop sounds empty and I'm not sure how to fill it properly. I'm sure there's also a bunch of other stuff wrong with the mix that I don't even know about, but would love if y'all could tear this apart and share any tips for how to improve on this. Have my first show of 2026 in a month from now and would love to be able to rip something like this there, but I know it's not even close to ready.
