Time to share our progress. What has everyone been working on? Who needs an accountability check in? On my side, I rested last night for the most part niggling on somethings and woke up this morning and made a couple of big updates. If you look at your User/Settings page it has now been broken into tabs and you have a new "AI" tab. This will give you the full list of models you have access to from your api keys and the ability to turn them all off and only turn on the ones you want to see in your drop downs as choices? Several people had an issue with Opus being the default and they blew through their credits too fast. Two of them asked for the same feature, but I had to do a bit of thinking on how to do it. You can now choose your default model for text and for image generation, and you can still have a choice of a few others if you want to or the whole list. Openrouter lists the cost of use of each model so you can be better informed as to what using that perticular model will be. I'm hoping that will help the situation. I'd love folks to list below their model preferences and what they've experienced with some of the models we have available. Have a happy Tuesday. Might even have to be tropy and find a taco!

Okay so WordCrafter.Pro is $22 a month with a 14 day free trial (Discount for a yearly subscription). I've added a coupon for all BIAM folks this month that want to try it an Extra 30days free. When their trial runs out and they have to register they can use the coupon BIAMMAY2026 at checkout and get their next 30 days free to be able to finish BIAM. I've passed this on to a couple folks already. If there is enough interest I'll do an every other day help session for the BIAM folks since the custom prompting can be a little tricky. I'm running it both ways as a test. Founders of course will never pay.

The timer for your trial is starting to count down and will appear in WordCrafter. When it reaches zero your account in WCP will be paused and you will have to go to the payment link to get access. You three have until Sunday midnight to get in and give me some feedback if you are still interested. When the 14 Day Trial accounts expire those accounts will go on pause and can be reactivated by starting a subscription. You can backup all of your work before your trial ends and save it to your local drive. Any account on pause for 12 months will be removed and all data lost. For everyone: Because he chat Log files can take up a lot of space quickly If you have not logged into your account on WCP for ten days these will be deleted. You can save them to your drive now, but I will be adding a "Backup Logs" feature the same as your files backup to save them all if you feel the need. They are not a requirement for you books and not incredibly useful unless you left something there you meant to save. I am willing to listen to discussion on other ways to deal with it if anyone is in disagreement with me.

Ive been working on importing files. We can now import Scrivener, novelcrafter, word, text, epub, pdf, and working on sudowrite and improving the raptorwrite import. Exporting pdf, epub, and word now let's you add a cover image from the gallery. Scrivener export works. If anyone decides to test these, let me know if you run into any issues. I exported ALL of my novelcrafter files and imported them all as a test (9 of them) into WCP. So if you started something elsewhere you can finish it in WCP. If you decide WordCrafter.Pro isn't for you there's multiple ways to exit. Back to recording trainings...
