Most leaders (me) hate promoting themselves.
It feels uncomfortable. It feels self-centered. It feels like ego. But here’s the truth: Promotion is not about spotlighting the leader. Promotion is about stewarding the mission. Every mission needs visibility. Every idea needs a voice. Every movement needs a messenger. If a leader refuses to communicate clearly, consistently, and courageously… People don’t know where they’re going, why it matters, or how to join in. That’s not humility. That’s confusion. Marketing is simply the art of making the mission visible. Promotion is the courage to be seen carrying it. When done well, both become acts of service. What are your thoughts?

Deathly, Drifting, or Devoted...Which are you?
Three Types of Leaders: 1. The Deathly Leader - Leads from fear and control. Needs to be right, to be seen, to be praised.Their team survives, but they don’t thrive. Everything revolves around the leader’s insecurity and eventually, it drains the life out of the culture. 2. The Drifting Leader - Leads from good intentions but lacks vision and discipline. They want everyone to feel good, but without direction, the team loses momentum. Drifting leaders are kind, but inconsistent and they confuse peace with passivity. 3. The Devoted Leader - Leads from love and conviction. They care deeply and act decisively. They create environments of trust where truth can live. They aren’t driven by fear or ego, but by the desire to see others flourish. *AWARENESS IS THE NAME OF THE LEADERSHIP GAME. BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND YOU WILL LEAD WITH HEALTH.
The Weight of Pioneering
Every pioneer hits the wall of misunderstanding. The ones who go first will always feel friction because you’re walking where there’s no trail yet. Leadership isn’t about avoiding suffering; it’s about assigning meaning to it. Don’t numb the ache. Name it. Let it form wisdom in you. The weight you carry is often the weight required to carry others later. 🪞Ask Yourself: Where is God strengthening your leadership through resistance right now?

How is anger affecting your leadership?
Emotionally healthy leaders don’t avoid anger. They steward it.Unacknowledged anger leaks into culture, decisions, and tone. Owned anger can lead to clearer values, cleaner conversations, and deeper trust. Prompt: Where might suppressed anger be shaping your leadership more than you realize?
