Interesting how differently we all grow...
I've been thinking about how no two journeys look the same, yet we can still learn so much from one another. What's been the biggest mindset shift that's helped you move forward? I'd love to hear what made the biggest difference for you. For me: It's making sure that I show up for myself. For so long I've showed up for others and put myself on the far back end....NO MORE!

Unclench Your Fists: A Mid-Year Reset for the Second Half of 2026
Hey everyone! Happy July 1st. We have officially crossed the bridge into the second half of the year. If you look back at the last six months and feel like things haven't moved as fast or as smoothly as you hoped, I want you to take a deep breath. Today is the ultimate day for a fresh start. There’s an old saying: "If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got." But as I’ve been reflecting on this today, I realized the deeper truth of why we get stuck in those old patterns: We are trying to receive our future with a tight grip on our past. Think about it. To receive a gift, your hand has to be open. But when we slide into fear or scarcity mode, our hands instinctively ball up into fists. We hold on for dear life to what is familiar and comfortable, even if it’s keeping us small. In our businesses and lives, that tight grip usually looks like: - Staying in a stagnant zone or holding onto old strategies longer than we should because they feel "safe." - Entertaining professional relationships or ideas well past their expiration date. - Saying yes to clients or opportunities covered in red flags just because we’re afraid the next one won't show up. We often view letting go as a loss. But what if letting go is actually a gift? When your hands are clenched around yesterday, you lose the ability to see and grab the opportunities right in front of you. And remember, new opportunities rarely arrive fully formed and magnificent. They arrive as seeds. Sometimes those seeds look a little straggly and unimpressive. They require us to open our hands, take them in, nurture them, and allow them to mature. But you can't cultivate a new seed if your hands are full of old baggage. As the Bible reminds us in Philippians 3:13-14: "...forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal..." To step into the abundance, flow, and favor waiting for you in the rest of 2026, you have to release the grip. Unclench your fists. Your hands need to be empty to receive what is next.

Why We Self-Sabotage (It's Probably Not What You Think)
If you've ever found yourself saying... "Why do I keep doing this?" "I know what I should do...so why don't I do it?" "Why do I keep getting in my own way?" You're not alone. And the answer isn't that you're lazy. It's not because you're unmotivated. And it's certainly not because God forgot about you. More often than not, we don't sabotage our future; we protect an identity we've unconsciously accepted. Your Brain Protects What It Believes Your mind is constantly looking for evidence that supports what you already believe about yourself. If, somewhere along the way, you began believing... ❌ I'm not qualified. ❌ Success is for other people. - ❌ I always quit. - ❌ I'm not good with money. - ❌ People won't take me seriously. - ...your mind will quietly look for evidence that confirms those beliefs. Not because they're true. Because they're familiar. Familiar feels safe; even when it keeps us stuck. That's why information alone rarely changes behavior. You can read another book, buy another course, or watch another YouTube video, but until your identity begins to change, your behaviors usually return to what's familiar. Here's the Good News The Bible has been teaching this principle long before modern psychology began studying it. "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." (Romans 12:2). Notice Paul didn't say: "Try harder." He said: Be transformed. Transformation begins internally before it becomes visible externally. PurposeFlow™ Believes... We don't manifest a new reality by controlling the universe. We participate in God's work by renewing our minds, aligning our hearts with His truth, and faithfully stewarding the opportunities He places before us. Faith is not pretending something is true. Faith is agreeing with what God says is true—even before we fully experience it. That's a very different posture. One is control. The other is trust. So How Do We Replace Limiting Beliefs? Here are a few practices I encourage my coaching clients to use: 1️⃣ Identify the Story You're Repeating. Ask yourself: What do I consistently believe about myself? Where did that belief come from? Is this God's truth—or someone else's opinion? Awareness is the first step toward freedom.

Celebrating Our Connections (And a Fun New Milestone!) 🎉
First, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been engaging in the community lately. A special shout-out to @Marilyn Evans-Stamp , @Madelyn Bass , @Sandra Ivy, and @Carla Dancy Smith —I see you! We absolutely love engagement here because we are real people on a real journey together. Because of these amazing, genuine conversations, I just moved up to Level 5 today! As you engage more, you'll notice that different resources and perks unlock within the community (you can always spot your current level in the little blue circle next to your profile picture). The way the Skool leaderboard works is simple: you move up when others like or reply to what you post. That is why adding real value is so important—it’s how we learn from each other and build true relationships. What’s with the 🔥? You might have also noticed a little flame emoji next to my name. It’s definitely not a requirement, but I’m focused on keeping mine. Here is how it works: when you engage in 10 activities (post, comment, like), a day, your daily square on the leaderboard turns dark green. If you keep that consistency up for 30 days, you earn your flame. To keep it, you just maintain those 10 daily touchpoints (across the entire Skool platform). But here’s the thing—I’m not playing the "flame game" just for the sake of a digital badge. For me, it’s just a fun, structured way to do what I would naturally do anyway: connect, provide value, and build relationships. Some of us love games, some need a little structure, some enjoy an easy daily win, and others are perfectly fine without it. It is all good! But if it helps make building a business a little more fun and engaging, I am all for it. We already have a couple of people in our community rocking their flames—will you join us? Let's keep the conversations flowing! So, you'll notice a couple of people in our community already have their flame - will you join us. If write a comment or drop a 🎯emoji in the comments!

Don't Miss Your Seed While Looking for Your Harvest
This morning, I was blessed by a message at KFAME from visiting preacher, Bishop Dale Bronner that reminded me of something every entrepreneur needs to hear. We spend so much time praying for the harvest that we sometimes overlook the seeds God has already placed in our hands. Maybe your seed looks like: one client one conversation one video one idea you can't shake one introduction one act of obedience Small doesn't mean insignificant. In God's Kingdom, every harvest begins as a seed. The challenge isn't usually that God hasn't provided. The challenge is that we're waiting for the seed to look like the harvest before we'll plant it. And here's another truth that stayed with me: The seed in your hand will determine your future. not someday, today! What are you faithfully stewarding right now? Finally, this one stretched me: If what God called you to doesn't scare you, check the source. God-sized visions are meant to stretch our faith beyond our comfort and beyond our own ability. If we could accomplish them on our own, we wouldn't need to depend on Him. That's the heart of PurposeFlow™. Less hustle. More obedience. Less striving. More stewardship. Less chasing. More trusting. What "seed" has God already placed in your hands that you may have been overlooking? Share one seed you're committing to steward this week. Let's encourage one another as we plant faithfully and trust God for the harvest. Post your response and a GIF that represents it. Then review one other post and ask a question. We learn so much from inquiry.
