Good morning,
Happy day after Christmas. I hope your day was filled with moments that mattered. Maybe you received everything you wanted. Maybe only a few of the things you needed. Either way, I hope you felt seen and loved.
For the final payday tip of the year, I’ll keep it simple:
- Presence matters more than presents.
We live in a culture that constantly points out what’s missing, what didn’t go as planned, or what’s still left to achieve. And if you’re someone who sets goals and looks ahead, it’s easy to carry that mindset into every area of life—including moments meant for rest and gratitude.
This is a gentle reminder to pause. Don’t rush so quickly into what’s next that you overlook what God has already placed in your hands. What you have right now may not be perfect, but it is still worth acknowledging and stewarding well.
Take a breath. Give thanks. Be present.
