Did You Budget for Joy This Month? | Payday Tip
Good morning,
Did you budget for joy this month?
I’m serious.
A lot of people want to improve their finances, but they quietly believe that doing better means cutting out everything they enjoy. So they either avoid budgeting… or they create a plan that feels restrictive and hard to stick to.
But stewardship isn’t about eliminating joy. It's about planning for it.
The real issue usually isn’t enjoyment. It’s unplanned enjoyment.
When we don’t decide ahead of time what we’re allowed to enjoy, we either overspend and feel guilty… or we under-spend and feel deprived.
Neither brings peace.
As you review your numbers this month, ask yourself:
  • Did I plan for something I enjoy?
  • How much did I decide to spend on it?
  • Am I honoring that limit?
There is nothing wrong with enjoying what God has entrusted to you. The key is doing it with intention.
Joy feels different when it’s planned. It feels peaceful.
And if you’re ready to learn how to get to a place where your finances feel joyful instead of stressful, I’d love to walk alongside you.
Schedule a free consultation, and let’s talk about what that could look like for you.
Have a great weekend,
Latrisa
