Can You Handle the Blessing You're Praying for? | Monday Push
Hello,
Without oxen, a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.
Proverbs 14:4
Have you ever tried cooking without dirtying a few dishes? It’s impossible, right? To enjoy that delicious meal you’ve been craving, you have to make a little mess first.
The same is true with increase. You’ve probably heard the phrase, “More money, more problems.” A larger income is a blessing—but without the right systems to manage it, it can quickly become a burden. That’s what the writer in Proverbs is reminding us: increase comes with responsibility.
So, before your next blessing shows up, ask yourself:
- If you get the raise...
- If you receive the healing...
- If you pay off the debt...
- If you reach your savings goal...
Reflection Question
Do you have the tools to maintain what God gives you? When we prepare for growth, we show God that we’re ready to handle what we’ve been praying for.
Prayer of the Week
Dear God, I trust Your timing for increase in my life. As You prepare me for harvest, help me build the wisdom, discipline, and systems I need to sustain it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
