Updating the books outline in the BRD Creator

My book is written, but I want to change some significant things. I go to the BRD creator and make the adjustments I want to the outline and then click the Update BRD button, and it successfully updates.

But these changes do not flow through to the Writing Tool area. I was expecting I would be able to go back to the writing tool and tell it to re-write a chapter to update and reflect the changes I made in the BRD, but that does not happen. Also, if I add an extra chapter in the BRD it does not appear in the writing tool area. Am I missing something? Or is it just not working for me??
