Aside from my main projects, I've been working on a small side project that, if it takes off, could become something HUGE! 🚀 Have you ever heard the term "lightning in a bottle"? It's that incredible moment of inspiration or that amazing idea that feels nearly impossible to capture, but when you do, it can change everything! 💡⚡️ I've got a simple idea that's extremely complex at its underpinning! 🤔🔍 What if we could harness the atmospheric voltage from the ambient electrical grid around us? 🌐⚡️ There's a field of electricity that surrounds all of us, starting at 100 volts per meter (from the earth's surface) and increasing as you head toward the ionosphere. 🌌🔋 What if we could tap into that? 🌟 I've been devising a way to make exactly that happen. 🤓🔧 Interested? So I was talking to my wife today and she is really wanting to do a Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls) Christmas Village this year. Naturally my first thought was "I could probably 3d print most of the buildings for the village." What makes this story interesting is what my second thought was "What if I created a DnD campaign set in Stars Hollow?" and so I got to work and I now have the basic workings of a Dungeons and Dragons Campaign that is set in the Gilmore Girls universe. Currently I have stat blocks for 5 playable characters, Lorelai, Rory, Luke, Sookie, and Emily, along with 4 skills/actions that they can perform. The story is set in the time that leads up to Christmas and the players are tasked with locating the "Yule Log" which is a crucial prop for the upcoming town Christmas pageant (This is an incredibly big deal in Stars Hollow). In searching for the Yule log the players will receive tasks from influential characters from the show in exchange for clues to the Yule Logs whereabouts where they will find it and let the show go on or fail in their endeavors and disappoint the masses. This is still a work in progress and I am already questioning the cast of playable characters, plus I will need to work out the "combat" mechanics to align with this world and its goings on. Just wanted to put this out into the ether.
