This week definitely has not gone the way I’d like but here it is in the RAW….. The week started out swell with getting back into running after spraining my ankle booooyahhh! Felt great. Did days 1-3 of the performance workouts then got THE WORST ear infection I thought would go away but here we are on antibiotics and what not. Haven’t worked out in 2 days and fell off the burpee challenge. 😞 hoping this ear thing goes away soon. So there’s some good news and bad news. Super pumped my ankle felt good running though. Keep it up everyone!
Saying this week had been rough is an understatement. Couple of big life curve balls were hurled my way this week. I’m both mentally and psychically exhausted. -Keeping up with sleep… no. Terrible week of sleep. -Keeping up with my workout plan… no. Hit 0 workouts. -Keeping up with nutrition… no. Missing goals daily. I am however keeping up with the burpee challenge, which I’m proud of. Not exactly ultra race prep doing only that, but it really is a workout lol My whoop and garmin are screamin at me this week 😅 Next week is a new week. Always forward.
Didn’t achieve what I wanted this week. Had some set backs. Got three days of burpees in and one day of strength training so far. Trying to get back on it this weekend.
Week 1 of Project 300 has been a much needed breath of fresh-air in my life. The thing I've enjoyed the most this week is the 10 minute burpee challenge. I struggle with all or nothing thinking. Usually I don't go to the gym on my lunch break, because only so much can get done in 30 minutes. I've found 10 minutes of burpees is a great way to maximize my time. Day 1 of burpees was rough. I struggled with a lot of self doubt. A few years ago I completed Joe Desena's 300x7 burpee challenge and here I was getting blown up by 40. I choose to ignore the negativity and self doubt. By day 4 I felt my burpee strength coming back to me. 💪 Biggest challenge this week has been losing my wallet and driver's license, but I didn't let it stop me from getting to day 4 of Foundations lvl 1. I'm looking forward to my 38 minute walk/run later today. p.s. I'm aware there's a QnA format to Friday check-ins, but I wasn't seeing a pinned post with questions. I'll edit/repost this one if needed otherwise I'll plan on following the format next week.
71 today with the 55lb ram. My triceps are shot. Honestly didn’t think I’d get much more than 50 today. Also had to put gloves on since the ram destroyed my palm the previous 2 days. 213 as of now. Chasing that 500 mark but it’ll be very close. Need an average of 72 per day. 😬 https://www.instagram.com/stories/jr4dice/4012892149889282167?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&exln=MWtheTllZml2ZXE5bQ==
