Accept one another
Dear Heavenly Father, We come before You this morning with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of a new day and the breath of life You have given us. As Your Word says in Romans 15:7, “Therefore accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.” We ask that this truth shape our hearts and guide our lives today. Lord, we acknowledge that apart from Your mercy and grace, we cannot live in unity or love one another as You desire. Cleanse our hearts and renew our minds by the power of the Holy Spirit. Teach us to receive others with humility, patience, and compassion, just as Christ welcomed us when we were weak and undeserving (Ephesians 2:4–5). Help us to remember that we are one body in Christ, called to live in peace and mutual love (Colossians 3:12–14). Father, we surrender our hearts completely to You this morning. Remove pride, judgment, bitterness, and division from within us. Fill us instead with the love of Christ that bears all things and seeks the good of others (1 Corinthians 13:4–7). Grant us divine power to forgive as we have been forgiven and to walk in grace toward one another (Ephesians 4:32). Lord Jesus, You accepted us fully through Your sacrifice on the cross. Let Your life be formed in us so that our words, actions, and attitudes bring glory to God (Galatians 2:20). May our lives reflect Your mercy, and may our fellowship testify to Your redeeming love (John 13:34–35). We commit this day into Your hands. Lead us in Your truth, strengthen us by Your grace, and help us live surrendered lives that honor You in all things. In the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Even in Chaos Jesus Chose Mercy
I am watching The Passion of the Christ, and there is a moment that always stops me in my tracks. In the middle of betrayal, fear, violence, and chaos, when a sword is swung and a soldier’s ear is cut off, Jesus does something completely unexpected. He heals him. Right there. No anger. No retaliation. No self-defense. Jesus reaches out and restores what was broken, even while being arrested, even while knowing the cross is moments away. This is the heart of Christ. When the world reacts in violence, Jesus responds in mercy. When others are hurting Him, He is still healing them. When chaos is loud, love is still at work. Luke 22:51 KJV“And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.” That is our Savior. That is the Kingdom. And that is the example He left for us to follow. Lord, help us choose mercy when everything around us screams otherwise in Jesus name. Amen.
