PLEASE KEEP MY WIFE SUSIE IN PRAYER 🙏
We are at the ER right now. Susie has been having chest pain, and they are checking her out. Please join me in praying that everything comes back okay and that the Lord touches her body and brings healing, peace, and strength. 🙏❤️ In Jesus’ mighty name, we are believing for a good report! 🙌 Thank you to everyone who prays for her. God bless you all. ❤️🙏 Update in comments Sept 4,2026
BUT YOU COULD HAVE USED IT!
A Christian woman decided to celebrate her 70th birthday by spending one night at a beautiful Christian retreat center. The next morning, she went to check out and was handed a bill for $250. “$250?!” she exclaimed. “I only stayed one night! I didn't even eat breakfast!” The manager explained, “Ma'am, breakfast was included. It was available to you.” She replied, “But I didn't eat it!” The manager said, “Yes, but you could have.” Then he added, “We also have a beautiful prayer garden where guests can spend time with the Lord.” “But I didn't use it.” “It was available. You could have.” “We also have a Bible study every evening.” “But I didn't go.” “You could have.” “We have a worship service every morning.” “I didn't attend it!” “But you could have.” The woman finally smiled and said, “Okay, I think I'm beginning to understand.” Then she pulled out her checkbook, wrote a check for $50, and handed it to the manager. The manager looked confused. “Ma'am, the bill is $250. You only gave me $50.” She smiled and said: “I deducted $200 for the Bible lesson I could have taught you.” The manager stared at her. “But you didn't teach me a Bible lesson!” She smiled and replied: “That's right. But I was available... and you could have asked me!” 😂 Now here's the real lesson: Sometimes we live our Christian lives exactly like that. God has made so much available to us through Christ, yet we can go through life without taking hold of it. We have access to prayer, but do we pray? We have God's Word, but do we read it? We have the Holy Spirit, but do we seek His guidance? We have forgiveness, but do we receive it and extend it to others? We have the privilege of sharing the Gospel, but do we actually share it? Something being available doesn't mean we're taking advantage of it. Jesus said: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:7 KJV God has given us access to Him through Jesus Christ. The question isn't only, “What has God made available?”

Is God saying wait or no?
Sometimes we pray about something and don't see anything happening. Then we start wondering: “God, are You telling me to wait, or are You telling me no?” This can happen with ministry, work, business, relationships, or almost anything else. But here's something important: A difficult season doesn't automatically mean God said no. Sometimes God says yes, but the timing isn't right yet. Sometimes He says no because He has another direction. And sometimes we simply don't know yet, so we keep walking with Him. Think about Abraham God promised Abraham a son, but Abraham had to wait many years before Isaac was born. The delay didn't mean God changed His mind. God's “not yet” wasn't a “no.” I asked God a while back and still do What about ministry and making money? Sometimes Christians think: “If God called me into ministry, shouldn't I spend all my time doing ministry?” Not necessarily. Paul preached the Gospel, but he also worked as a tentmaker. Your job can provide for your needs while your ministry fulfills your calling. Making money doesn't have to compete with serving Jesus. Your work can actually help support what God has called you to do. So maybe the question isn't: “Should I do ministry OR work on my business?” Maybe it's: “Lord, what do You want me focusing on in this season, and how can I honor You in both?” ❤️ Remember: You don't have to understand the whole plan to take the next faithful step. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding... and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Sometimes ministry is the mission while your work or business is the provision that helps you carry out that mission. 🙏 When you're waiting on God, what is hardest for you?
