Demand Gen replacing video conversion campaign

As you guys saw this is happening...

Now my question is, is there a way to setup demand gen campaing to only run on youtube as video ads?

Cause I have setup the campaign and I see google search and display network in network tab inside the ads editor even though I've exlcuded search partners...

So is google counting youtube under display network or?

Also, I can't disable display network in the option below exclude search partners, however I figured that if I don't add any images under demand gen image ads, then the ads will not show on display network..

Am I right?

If not, is there a way to bypass this?
