Managing Anxiety
Do you ever wake up & just feel anxious before you’re even fully awake? Or wake up to a racing heart or thoughts?
I’m curious. I went through times in my life where every single morning I woke up like that before I even had any awareness of what I was anxious about!
Over time I learned to cultivate habits that supported a calm, peaceful mind. One of those habits that has helped tremendously is not consuming too much news.
It’s always a moving target, 🎯 because I don’t want to be completely ignorant to what’s going on in the world 🌎, but I do find there is a threshold of consumption, that if I cross, spirals me into anxiety that can be crippling.
How about you? What are some ways you currently manage anxiety & where are some areas you might like help?
This is where having community is GOLD. Sometimes others can have ideas, thoughts, & suggestions that we might not have considered.
And let’s be real: we ALL have anxiety sometimes!!!
