IKEA Live on YouTube… and Apparently Even Fake Plants Get Watered
I spontaneously went live on YouTube today… and it turned into a more than two hour experience 😄
Between courses at work, I stopped by IKEA to grab a few things for my newly rearranged studio. I wanted some small rolling shelves to keep everything a bit more organized and within reach and honestly, I found some absolute gems. Especially that desk add on shelf… total game changer. And the rolling units under the table are also amazing… even though I am still figuring out what will actually go in there 😄
On my way home, inspired by Barbara’s live, I had this random thought: why not just go live while building everything?
So I did.⭐️
And somehow… people actually showed up.😳
I ended up being live for more than two hours. At some point, everything was already assembled and I just kept talking, hanging out, and honestly enjoying the moment so much. It felt so easy and fun and I was really just happy you were there with me.
Also, quick side story that perfectly sums up the day:
I bought a small artificial plant from IKEA to make things a bit prettier. The plastic pot didn’t fit into my handmade ceramic one, so I tried to adjust it a little.
And then… water came out of it.💦
From a fake plant.🌱
Which raises a very important question:
Are artificial plants secretly pre watered for life?
Because I always thought they last forever because… well… plastic.
Apparently IKEA was like: just in case she gets thirsty.
So now I own a fake plant with better hydration management than me.
Anyway… thank you so much to everyone who joined today. I loved every second of it.💕
And next time, I might even start with a clean camera lens and proper lighting so you can actually see what’s going on 😄
