🇯🇵 Vstar Universe - Final chance to pick up for reasonable price?

Yesterday I picked up 6 Japanese booster boxes of Vstar Universe.

Vstar Universe is the high-class set of 2022. High-class sets are absolute bangers in terms of releases, typically do really well long-term, and appreciate quite a lot in value.

Vstar Universe introduced the first Alternate Art Gold cards, Alternate Art Trainer cards, has an amazing subset of Special Art Rares and Art rates, and includes the chance of pulling a god pack. Did I mention it contains alt-art Charizards, Mewtwo, highly sought-after waifu cards, and a ~€400 Pikachu too? Opening up a few boxes of Vstar universe will almost certainly guarantee you some amazing hits.

In short: this set is one of the absolute best releases the Pokemon Company in Japan has ever done.

With Vstar Universe not even a year old, many of us expected reprints. But with the recent developments in Japan, the Pokemon Company in Japan is absolutely swamped trying to meet the demand for newer sets like Pokemon Card 151. It's starting to look unlikely that there will be a reprint of Vstar Universe.

Prices of singles are slowly creeping up, as are the prices for booster boxes. The lowest price it hit was around €80 per box a few months ago, it has now climbed to around €115+ per box.

Why not buy Crown Zenith - the English counterpart of this set, you might wonder? Simply because of how much Crown Zenith was printed in comparison to Vstar Universe. Less supply is good from an investment standpoint.

If you're looking to invest in some sealed Japanese products, you might want to consider getting a few booster boxes sooner than later.
