As a complete noob when it comes to collecting Pokémon, I'm realising that this can be both an exciting, addictive, and costly journey, and so I was wondering what things I should or shouldn't be aware of ? For example, should I stick to collecting one set like Pitch Black, or is it ok to collect across random sets, and just go for specific types of Pokémon? It would be great to get your top tips, your dos and don'ts, and anything else that might help me on my quest? Thanks so much, and look forward to learning from you all.

Hi I am working on a Pokemon sealed Tracking Tool. I am using the 7d avg cardmarket prices for tracking. There are some downsides like in the sheet. Cardmarket does not provide access to past prices. This is a limitation. Let me know if you would like to test it and use it productively. I would then adjust the final details and translate it into English. I would have to charge a fee for this in the future because it incurs ongoing costs. I may include cards in the future.

What card from pitch black is your favourite?

Hey everyone — just curious, how are sealed product prices looking in your country right now? Are you also experiencing shortages? Here in the Czech Republic, new sets are already starting at 2–4x MSRP at most retailers the moment they drop. Would love to know if this is a global thing or just our region.

Which sets are you focusing on right now? I've been buying a lot of Prismatic Evolutions booster bundles, but I'd like to diversify more. Are you guys going for Ascend Heroes? Destined Rivals? I already have quite a lot 151, and its getting too expensive for me now. I am now 2-3 years in and my timing was perfect for the hype :)
