PMP Exam Done and Dusted!! ATx2 AT
Hi All, I just completed my PMP exam about a 2 hours ago and passed!!! ๐ŸŽ‰ (Above Target in People and Process; Target in Business Environment) It was not an easy exam, but consistent studying truly paid off. Hereโ€™s what I used to prepare: 1. Andrew's PMP Course (I took a lot of notes and this helped me remember so much) 2. PMP Study Hall 3. 200 PMP Questions (Andrewโ€™s YouTube video) I picked an exam date that worked for me and studied for about one hour per day. I made sure to finish the course fully and watched the mindset video several times. I started using PMI Study Hall four weeks before the exam and it was tough! 1 week to exam: - Focused on weak areas and re-watched relevant course sections - Completed the 200-questions video - Re-watched the mindset video two days before the exam 1 day before exam: - Reviewed a few topics using ChatGPT as my study buddy - Switched off and watched TV to relax Exam day: - Woke up early and arrived at the exam centre 30 minutes before my scheduled time - Did breathing exercises and motivated myself in the mirror (I knew I had put in the work) - Chose the earliest exam slot (10am) - Once seated, I wrote down three things Andrew always emphasises: (a.) Apply the PM mindset. (b.) Always revert to the team. (c.)Donโ€™t do nothing. - And the rest is history. ๐Ÿ˜Š Iโ€™d like to thank Andrew for being such a great teacher / coach. Your course is amazing from the techniques, the explanations, to the way you emphasise understanding rather than cramming. It made all the difference. Thanks again!

Passed my PMP exam AT in all domains
It's my time to share the success stories. I had taken my PMP test on November 22 and I found the test fairly difficult. It aligned more closely to the Study Hall Mock tests. However, i strongly encourage to also take TIA simulators which had quality questions and Andrew's explanation really helps drill that mindset principles in. I took 7 weeks to prepare for the test, and I studied daily for 2-3 hours. Materials I used are below 1. Andrew's Udemy course. Words cannot describe how well the course have been put together that's all you need for the syllabus. NO NEED TO READ THE PMBOK GUIDE. Andrew's explanation along with practice quizzes at the end of each section helps you to retain the material. 2. TIA Simulator (8 Mock tests along with 200 Ultra Hard questions) 3. Study Hall. Very Important. Your actual exam will be very similar to Study Hall. 4. David McLachlan's you tube videos. 5. Last but not the least. Please watch Complete Mindset 50 Principle and Questions video. I watched it multiple times including a day before exam. Cannot stress how important the application of Mindset is to pass your real test. Feel free to reach out for any detailed queries. Good luck!
My PMP Journey
Dear All, This is my first post on this platform! I passed my PMP exam last Saturday on my first try, achieving above-target scores in all three domains. I want to share my preparation and study journey so it can hopefully assist others preparing for the exam. Alert: It is a lengthy post! First, let's clarify one thing: The test is challenging, and timing during the exam and how much time you allocate to each question are crucial for your success. Another thing you need to be clear on is what motivates you to sit the exam and succeed. One of my motivations was to pass the exam before the 8th Edition of PMBOK became available! Now, letโ€™s get into the details. ยท Success factors: 1. Study diligently. 2. Stay consistent with your studying. 3. Study the PMP mindset and incorporate it into your material. 4. Use various mock exams to become familiar with different styles. 5. Don't panic during the exam if you feel unsure about the answers. ยท Preparation: Letโ€™s break it down โ€“ 1. I started with the AR 35-hour online course on Udemy to get my PDUs. I studied for 1.5 hours early in the morning and for another 1.5 to 2 hours after work every day for the past 2 months. During the weekends, I spent about 8 to 10 hours studying. 2. I created a study plan to sit the exam in early November, but like any other project, I faced some obstacles along the way and had to make adjustments and deviate from the original plan. The main challenge was daily work, as we were in the middle of a cutover, and the go-live was just about to happen. Additionally, I included more mock exams in my study schedule. 3. During this time, I also applied for the exam. To ensure my application would be accepted, I watched the AR YouTube video on using AI to apply. It worked really well, and I was able to submit the PMI application form quickly. 4. I studied the AR PMP exam prep book and read it twice, and then bought the AR exam simulator for the mock exams. I also used the PMBOK Guide 7th Edition, the PMBOK Guide 6th Edition, and the Agile Practice Guide.
