First shout-out to @Nikola Janjic for easing me and everyone's mind on here! Second - I passed with 88 mins on the exam (yes yes I know, but it was just... eh?)
If your background is simlair to mine, it might help!
Background: 4-6 years of PM experience with PMO
- The company provided engagement manager courses at level 1
- SAFE Scrum and Agile certified 3 years ago
Study plan:
- Udemy course + Slides up on second monitor to read too (on 1.2-1.5 speed because I'm adhd, but I paused and rewatched the area I did not understand)
- MINDSET VIDEO HALFWAY THOUGH - better to understand the mindset in the beginning, then watch the rest so you're TRAINED to understand how to think
- Ultra Hard questions 50q - 100 q
- Mock test on Udemy
- Rest of Ultra Hard questions
- Day or 2 before the test - rewatched mindset
- Understand what the PERT values are - not just memorization (aka everything above 1 is good, except Total BAC one)
Optional but helped me get my confidence up
- SH Essentials - a couple 15q quizes
- 2 days before took 1 full exam (got a 68-75)
- Sutdied wrong answers
Exam Tips I haven't seen anyone else post:
- Read the LAST SENTENCE FIRST. What are they asking you? Then read the answers or the question again. Get your frame of mind into "What are they asking me to do?"
- The wording is sometimes VERY TRICKY. If you see a question and it indirectly mentions doing a step already and they ask "What you will do NEXT" do not choose the answer that repeats that step already taken.
