Study/Accountability Partners?
Hi everyone! Doing another post like this, because I wasn't ready when I posted my first one a few weeks ago. I just finished doing the 35 hour course on Udemy, and my PMP application has been accepted. I'm looking to pay & schedule my exam this week, and I'm aiming to take the exam by 6/15. My goal is to pass on the first try! Looking for folks that would be willing to meet weekly to study! I'm on the East Coast (EST), and work typical 9-5 hours during the week, so I typically have availability between 6 and 10PM M-F. My weekend availabiltiy varies depending on my second job, but I could possibly make that work too. Is anyone willing to start meeting via Teams or Zoom? Let me know, and I'll shoot you an email. Thanks! Good luck to everyone studying for the exam!

@Robann Parsons honestly mindset. You can read my post I did just the other day but Mindset will help you A LOT. even if it goes against what you experinced in life. That's what really helped me. And when taking a test - Make sure you read. There are some questions where they already told you what they did, and they ask you what the next steps was just to add in what they told you they did as an answer choice. But yahhhh - Lmk! :)
PASSED!
First shout-out to @Nikola Janjic for easing me and everyone's mind on here! Second - I passed with 88 mins on the exam (yes yes I know, but it was just... eh?) If your background is simlair to mine, it might help! Background: 4-6 years of PM experience with PMO - The company provided engagement manager courses at level 1 - SAFE Scrum and Agile certified 3 years ago Study plan: - Udemy course + Slides up on second monitor to read too (on 1.2-1.5 speed because I'm adhd, but I paused and rewatched the area I did not understand) - MINDSET VIDEO HALFWAY THOUGH - better to understand the mindset in the beginning, then watch the rest so you're TRAINED to understand how to think - Ultra Hard questions 50q - 100 q - Mock test on Udemy - Rest of Ultra Hard questions - Day or 2 before the test - rewatched mindset - Understand what the PERT values are - not just memorization (aka everything above 1 is good, except Total BAC one) Optional but helped me get my confidence up - SH Essentials - a couple 15q quizes - 2 days before took 1 full exam (got a 68-75) - Sutdied wrong answers Exam Tips I haven't seen anyone else post: - Read the LAST SENTENCE FIRST. What are they asking you? Then read the answers or the question again. Get your frame of mind into "What are they asking me to do?" - The wording is sometimes VERY TRICKY. If you see a question and it indirectly mentions doing a step already and they ask "What you will do NEXT" do not choose the answer that repeats that step already taken.

I PASSED MY PMP on the FIRST ATTEMPT
Wow Im still in shock. Im excited to share that I finally passed my PMP exam on April 30, 2026. Thank you Andrew for all your help. May the Lord continue to bless you. I was able to study consistently for 6 months. I took full 3 mock exams on PMI study hall and my scores were 60%,68%,70%. I took a bunch of quizzes but the literally the MINDSET WAS EVERYTHING.
