ASCEND provides experience-based courses that helps families turn everyday stress over change into shared music, learning, and joy. Blending jazz improvisation, playful parenting, and artful intelligence, the course treats your family/chosen family as a band and AI as a new band member who can coach, accompany, and learn alongside you.
You’ll learn simple improvisation tools—call-and-response, listening, taking turns soloing, and “playing the changes” that are essential to effective AI use. Using AI to learn AI through your Journey Journal turns the tool into a mirror, coach, and collaborator that grows alongside the family band.
As band members co-create reflections with AI—summarizing days, naming patterns, and planning next “gigs”—they practice the exact skills needed for wise, self-directed AI use. Each week, you’ll use AI as a study partner to break down course ideas, rehearse real-life conversations, and design small experiments you can try at home, school, or work.
