Assalamu alaikum everyone,
Had a great question from Omar this week that I know many of you are wondering about too:
"How do I post client wins on LinkedIn when I don't have any clients yet?"
This is THE biggest mental block stopping people from posting consistently. And it took me hiring a LinkedIn coach for £750/month to help me reach out, book calls and close prospects, ultimately allowing me to double my price.
But im going to break it down for you, for free.
You don't need clients to provide value on LinkedIn, but you do need a fresh prespective.
What you CAN post instead:
1. Common Mistakes & Pitfalls
After you learn a skill (even as a beginner), you can spot what most businesses are doing wrong.
- Bad automation setups
- Poorly written cold emails
- Websites that don't convert (Check out Sully's posts for inspo)
Call these out. Explain why they fail. This positions you as someone who gets it.
2. Your Learning Journey
Document what you're building and learning in real-time.
People connect with the process, not just the results.
Share:
- Tools you're testing
- Frameworks you're implementing
- Challenges you're solving
3. Free Work = Case Studies
Do work for free for 1-2 clients. Yes, free.
Then post about:
- The problem you solved
- The process you used
- The outcome they got
This becomes your proof of work.
Once you land clients, then you swap in the client wins.Start documenting. Start teaching. The clients will follow.
I'll be covering this in more depth in an upcoming workshop, but wanted to drop this here since I keep getting asked.
Drop a 🔥 if this helped.
