Yaama Everyone 🙋🏽‍♀️
My name is Koorine and I’m from Sydney, Australia 🌏 I had 12 months of piano lessons roughly 30 years ago, I often thought of starting again and recently made the decision to take it up again. I am hoping to challenge my mind and make the most of this opportunity 🎹
✨️🎹 🎶Piano Goals for 2026 🎶🎹✨️
✨ Piano Goals for 2026 ✨ As we step into a brand new year, I’d love you to pause for a moment and ask yourself: What would I like piano to give me in 2026? It doesn’t have to be big or complicated. It could be: • playing one song you love • practising just 10 minutes a day • sitting at the piano with more confidence • or simply enjoying the music without pressure Small, gentle goals create beautiful progress over time. And it's very rewarding work for me to help you, with your piano journey — let’s make 2026 a year of growth, joy, and music 🎶🎹🥰 Feel free to share your goal in the comments below 👇
Introduction
Happy New Year everyone! This year starts a new piano chapter for me, and I hope it brings new musical energy to you as well. **Who I Am** - 28 years old, started piano 2 months ago - One lesson per week, so every minute counts—learning patience with progress - Comfortable with one hand, basic chords (C, F, Am, G, Dm, Em), finger placement, simple sheet reading **What I'm Learning** - Simplified sheets from teacher: The Cure songs, easy "Moonlight Sonata" - Steady rhythm is challenging but improving with practice—normal for beginners **My 2026 Goal** - Play one complete, special song by year-end (e.g., "Interstellar" theme or "Another Love") - June recital with classmates: exciting push for discipline **My Wish** Here to share journey, stay motivated—progress happens with consistency, even weekly lessons. Wishing you all a beautiful New Year: achieve your piano goals, stay encouraged, proud of every step!
