Hello Everyone, I'm so excited about joining this community. I am ending 2025 with my retirement from being a college professor of child development, human services, and psychology. I played the piano as a child, picked it up again for a few semesters in college, and now to prepare for my retirement I was gifted an upright piano. I am picking up what I loved as a child, playing the piano and flute. My 6 year old granddaughter had her recital yesterday and she is so excited that I'll be playing also. I look forward to learning from Gma. I am originally from New Orleans, LA where jazz is a part of what brings me peace. I live in California and live music isn't found on every street corner like in Louisiana and I truly miss that.
