Case #001 — Shoulder Pain (Let’s think through this)
Athlete presents with: - Shoulder pain during overhead movement - Worse at end range - No acute injury - Gradual onset over time Before jumping to techniques… 👉 What are you paying attention to first? Not: - “What muscle is tight” - “Where would you massage” - "I'll use this technique..." But:👉 What actually matters in your decision making? Drop your thoughts below: - What stands out? - What would you assess? - What would you NOT focus on? No perfect answers here. This is about how to think through something — not memorize the “right” response. I’ll break down 1 way to approach this and how I approach it in a performance setting.

👉 Welcome to the Lab! If you don't mind, show your workspace 👇 I want to see where you work. Post a picture of your setup: - Clinic - Shared space - Home setup - Travel table - Doesn’t matter No judgment here. What matters is: 👉 You’re in the field, doing the work As you post, include: - Where you’re based - Who you typically work with (general population, athletes, etc.) - One thing you want to improve as a therapist right now I’ll go first!
