Did You Know ?
Some early “invisible inks” weren’t chemicals at all — just 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗸, 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 🍋
Writers would carefully write their secret message between the lines of an ordinary letter…
Then gently heat the paper near a flame or candle to reveal what was hidden underneath ✉️✨
It turned an ordinary letter into something part message, part magic.
💛 Imagine receiving a letter like that in the post…
A message only you were meant to see.
💬 Would you try this? 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲
Invisible ink using lemon juice or milk… then revealing it with heat ✉️🔥
🖊️ Yes — I want to try this!
👀 I’ve heard of it but never tried it
🤍 I love the idea but I’d be too scared to burn it
📮 No, but I love learning the history
❤️‍🔥 Can Julie Please do it and film it for us
