Stop failing EMC tests with this simple strategy - High-Speed MINIMA PCB Design Review
In my latest video, I reveal a simplified version of our internal EMC/EMI review process at fresuelectronics.com This is the same method we use to make sure projects are ready for certification from day one. To show you exactly how it works, we review the MINIMA carrier board, a compact open-source design for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 featuring PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, and more. You’ll learn how to spot EMC issues early, apply practical fixes, and strengthen any design — no matter the application. Watch now and start improving your projects before they hit the lab. 👉 https://youtu.be/qLiPD1RaCec Tag a colleague who could use this! To electromagnetic enlightenment, Dario PS. Printed Circuit Board Design Review For EMC and EMI Control - Fresu Electronics
In this video, I do a quick EMC/EMI review of an open-source industrial printed circuit board. First, I’ll take you through a hands-on look at the board and show you how I spot potential EMI issues directly on the PCB. Then, we’ll jump into a layout simulation using the electromagnetic and signal integrity software Simbeor to double-check those first impressions and see if this board is ready for EMC testing. The design you’re about to see comes from Gabriele Marocco — a member of the EMI Control Academy and someone who shares a lot of knowledge on his YouTube channel. If you’re new here, my name is Dario Fresu. I’m a fourth-generation electrical specialist and the CEO and Principal EMI Engineer at Fresuelectronics.com, where we help engineers in companies of all sizes master EMI control and electromagnetic compatibility in their designs. PCB Design for Low EMI: How to Minimize Radiated Emissions.
I just released my latest video, over 40 minutes long, where I dive deep into Radiated Emissions. I discuss how they are generated, how they depend on PCB design layout, and what we can do to minimize these effects. Watch the video for free here: youtu.be/Yg3QYT9wFqM Don't forget to leave a like if you enjoyed the video. This will help me create more content so we can stop the "EMI is Black Magic" nonsense. Enjoy! Dario --------------------------------------- PS: If you're struggling and need 1-on-1 support with fixing EMI issues on your PCB, DM me "HELP" and I'll personally get back to you.
